One of my favorite jobs in lapidary is slabbing. You never know what you're going to see when you open the saw, but you do know that you were the first one to ever see it. When luck is with you, you come across something special. Here are 2 premium slabs of Charoite with a perfect split on a Tinaksite spray. Charoite only occurs in the Chara River region of the former USSR. And Tinaksite only occurs in Charoite. So this is truly a rare find.
