Carey Plume agate was once dug on the Carey Ranch in Oregon. This supply has long been exhasted. I recently watched a 3 x 6 inch slab sell on eBay for $274.00. It was a very beautiful piece and would probably cut 2 of these cabochons. But they don't get much nicer than this, and this one's already cut for you. It weighs 90 carats and measures 2 1/8 by 1 5/8 inches. It's very nicely cut with a very even girdle all around it.
