This is a beautiful double terminated Tanzanite crystal on matrix. The piece weighs 9 3/4 ounces. The main crystal is 1 1/4 inches by 9/16 inch by 7/16 inch. This crystal is untreated. The matrix consists of calcite and pyrite. More tanzanite crystals are showing below and behind the main crystal in the picture.
